At King’s, our Christian ethos and strong pastoral focus shape every aspect of school life. Our Chaplaincy team walks alongside students, nurturing their faith and character while guiding them in making wise choices and developing Christ-like values. Through personal mentorship, engaging teaching, and meaningful experiences, chaplains support students as they grow spiritually, socially, and emotionally, helping them build a strong foundation for life.
Weekly Chapels That Build Faith
Each week, students gather in combined year levels for chapel, receiving age-appropriate and engaging teaching from God’s Word. Our chaplains, staff, students and guest speakers address current social topics through a biblical perspective, while student worship bands create vibrant, contemporary worship. Together, we provide meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the gospel in contemporary ways and to grow a personal relationship with Jesus.
Pastoral Care in Everyday School Life
Beyond chapel, our Chaplaincy team is present where it matters: on camps, mission trips and leadership days. Chaplains lead camp devotions from Years 3 to 12, run lunchtime programs and worship mornings, and participate in Hillsong events and mission trips. They walk alongside students to help them thrive in their relationships and faith, forming part of the village around your child as they navigate life.
"May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word."
