King's Pimpama
Primary School
King’s Christian College is a vibrant and nurturing learning community where every child is known, valued, and inspired to pursue excellence. Our mission is to equip students with strong academic knowledge while developing their character, faith, creativity, and leadership to thrive in life beyond the classroom.
We seek to cultivate a love of learning, resilience, and a servant-hearted approach to leadership in every child. Through engaging programs, personalised support, and a strong partnership with families, our students are encouraged to grow in their God-given potential within a safe, supportive, and Christ-centred environment.
At King’s, we aim to spark curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning while nurturing resilience, kindness, and a heart for service. Every child is valued, and every learning experience is an opportunity to shine.
“At the heart of King’s Primary is a deeply connected, Christ-centred community where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to flourish. We intentionally cultivate a culture of respect, responsibility, and care, partnering closely with families to nurture confident, capable learners. Our campus is a safe and welcoming place where children are supported to be their best. Through strong relationships, clear expectations, and Christian values, students learn to connect well with others, manage themselves, and make positive choices, growing in faith and character each day.”

Begin Your Child’s Learning Journey With Confidence
Every Stage of Primary Learning
In these foundational years, our focus is on developing core knowledge and essential skills within a nurturing, and Christ-centred environment. We intentionally foster a love of learning while building the habits, confidence, and curiosity that help children flourish as successful learners. Each day provides opportunities for exploration, creativity, and growth as students discover the joy of learning and belonging to a caring community.
Building upon the strong foundations of Lower Primary, students in Years 3 and 4 begin to apply their knowledge and skills with increasing independence and confidence. Learning becomes more inquiry-based and connected to real-world experiences, encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration. This stage also nurtures growing social awareness and empathy as students look beyond themselves and learn to contribute meaningfully to their classroom and community.
In these important transition years, students engage in deeper learning that challenges them to think critically, reflect on their values, and take greater responsibility for their learning. With an emerging sense of identity and purpose, they learn to collaborate effectively, lead with integrity, and serve others within their community. This stage prepares students academically, spiritually, and emotionally for a confident and successful transition to high school.
Our Core Curriculum
Building Strong Foundations with a Christian Worldview
Our Primary curriculum aligns with the Australian Curriculum and is enriched by our dedicated Christian Living program. Across all key learning areas, students develop essential knowledge and skills while building a faith-filled understanding of the world around them.
The English curriculum is designed to develop students into confident communicators, imaginative and critical thinkers, and informed citizens. It aims to ensure students can proficiently read, view, listen to, speak, write, create, and reflect on increasingly complex texts across diverse contexts. The curriculum encourages students to analyse, evaluate, and adapt the richness of the English language to express ideas, evoke emotions, and engage meaningfully with others. Through exposure to literature from varied historical, cultural, and social contexts, students deepen their understanding of themselves and the world.
The Mathematics curriculum is designed to equip students with essential knowledge, skills, and processes across number, algebra, measurement, space, statistics, and probability. It aims to develop mathematical proficiency through understanding, fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving, enabling students to interpret and respond to real-world contexts with confidence and creativity, laying the groundwork for future learning and diverse career pathways.
The Science curriculum fosters students’ curiosity and critical thinking by engaging them in a dynamic, collaborative, and creative exploration of the world. It aims to develop scientific literacy through understanding key concepts, processes, and practices, enabling students to make evidence-based decisions about local, national, and global issues. Students learn to investigate phenomena, solve problems, and appreciate science’s role in shaping culture, society, and personal lives. The curriculum encourages inquiry, discovery, and reflection, helping students evaluate diverse perspectives and engage meaningfully with contemporary challenges.
The Humanities and Social Sciences learning area explores human behaviour and interaction across social, cultural, environmental, economic, legal, and political contexts, helping students understand global issues and develop the skills to be active, informed citizens. With a focus on both historical and contemporary perspectives, it encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, and adaptability. Students also learn to consider diverse viewpoints and reflect on their own. Within the Australian Curriculum, History and Geography are introduced from Foundation, Civics and Citizenship from Year 3, and Economics and Business from Year 5.
Christian Living lessons and devotions in the classroom provide students with opportunities to explore biblical teachings, reflect on personal faith, and develop our King’s Foundational Values. Through prayer, scripture, discussion, and practical application, students grow spiritually and learn to apply Christian principles in everyday life and relationships.
